Saturday, June 4 | 11am – 2pm

Come and celebrate National Trails Day by getting the family on bikes and heading over to Checker Square in the Baseline Community for some bike-inspired fun, face painting, music, a food truck, Kona Ice and activities running from 11am – 2pm.

• Trek will be onsite to fill up tires and grease the chains for free if your bike needs a bit of attention. A donation for our charity partner, Broomfield Open Space Foundation is encouraged.
• Join the Broomfield riding community and make a pledge to ride 100 miles this summer as part of the Broomfield 100 challenge. You’ll want to check out the City of Broomfield’s Outdoor Passport filled with maps to 27 destinations to visit and challenges to complete before Broomfield Days in September.
• Our partners from Smart Commute will be on hand to promote their Bike to Summer program. They’ll help find trails so you can ditch the car and ride to work this summer. Everyone who visits the Smart Commute booth will be entered into a drawing to win an ultra-safe, dual-beam ShineOn bike light.  And be sure to sign up for their guided Full Moon Bike Rides all summer long!
• Learn how you can help keep our trails beautiful as part of the Master Restoration Specialist Program from Baseline’s partners at Butterfly Pavilion.
• Get the kiddos excited about biking with our bike decoration station, complete with a dry bike wash hosted by Broomfield Council on Arts and Humanity.
Foodlishus will be cooking up delicious eats for the whole family.  Then stay cool with Kona Ice who is graciously giving back 20% of their proceeds to Broomfield Open Space Foundation!
