It’s been an eventful summer

From taking to the trails to bringing your own pool, Baseline has entertained a variety of public events and resident gatherings this year.

Perhaps the biggest was Baseline’s annual Honey Bee Day, celebrating nature’s hardest working pollinators. The August-19 event at Checker Square even garnered local news coverage from Denver’s Channel 7. From live insects by the Butterfly Pavilion to live musical storytelling by Jeff and Page, it’s always a fun, eco-friendly Saturday.

Take to the Trails Day, honored both National Trails Day, June 9, and Colorado Bike Month, with live bluegrass, local brews and tasty barbeque. The Checker Square event drew a nice bike-loving crowd.

Baseline also hosted a Realtor Picnic and Home Tour, August 10, just for local real estate professionals.  It was a chance for them to explore what’s going on in Baseline and enjoy the sunny fresh air. The food truck fare was delicious, the model homes were well received and prizes were won.

Meanwhile, Baseline’s Community Life Team organizes a variety of great events that bring residents together throughout the year. Cocoa Crawl and Cinco de Mayo were festive progressive porch parties. B.Y.O.P (bring your own pool) was a chance to cool off in the mid-July heat with an array of portable and inflatable pools, Kona ice, a live DJ and prizes for best poolside snack. Finally, there’s Connect in Checker Square, an ongoing celebration when neighbors get together for donuts and coffee and new residents are welcomed with a gift.

To see what’s coming up in the community, take a look at our events calendar. And as Baseline grows, so will the variety of public and private events. If you’d enjoy living in a place where there’s always something fun to do and fun people to do it with, check out the Baseline’s selection of homes, many of which are ready now.
